OK! was reluctant to even have her on the cover at all, because according to OK! Magazine, “her issues just don’t sell that well!” Even her pregnant airbrushed Marie Claire cover wasn’t that popular, lets face it, her time has came and went and these days people don’t even remember who she is anymore. A source close to Aguilera said, Christina hates Nicole and there’s no way she would want her baby sharing a cover with Nicole’s baby, nothing would piss her off more and if she can’t get a cover to herself with her baby then forget it.” A magazine insider went on to point out, “the singer performs well on stage, but not so much on newsstands.” An industry spokesperson for OK! magazine went on to say, “I think a high price dollar figure is acceptable for Nicole Richie but for Aguilera it’s not worth it. … Christina just hasn’t proven to be a real seller.” OUCH!
