Amy Winehouse checked out of the London Clinic today and actually looked a good deal better. She checked out the other day and was back in yesterday and now she’s out again. She either put on some weight or is bloating, but it still looks healthier than her usually gaunt face. Amy was being treated for a chest infection at the clinic, though there were rumors she was also there to rehab. Either way, she looks a bit better than usual.

Hardly surprising. The singer’s spooky appearance, combined with her twilight jaunts, have seen her take a starring role in A Nightmare On Camden High Street.

So when I clocked this picture of Amy leaving hospital yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised.

The singer has been in the London Clinic for the past week being treated for a lung condition – and the stint seems to have been a great tonic.

She looks better than she has done for a long time, if a little bit podgier around the face.

I’ll raise my glass to Amy getting better.

In other Amy drug news, the couple that sold Amy her many vices has pleaded guilty today. They’re also the same pair that filmed her smoking crack and sent it to The Sun.

Amy Winehouse is back home after a brief hospital stint and “doing fine.” The same can’t be said for her dealers.

A British couple pleaded guilty Friday to supplying drugs to a slew of celebrities, most notably Winehouse, and then selling a video of the Grammy-winning singer smoking crack to a U.K. tabloid. Johnny Blagrove, 34, and Cara Burton, 22, confessed to supplying cocaine and Ecstasy to the 25-year-old Grammy winner and then secretly filming her getting high and selling the footage to The Sun. The newspaper published images of the “Rehab” star’s binge in January.

The video sparked a police raid on the pair’s east London home. There, investigators turned up a purported “hit list” of stars, including the troubled R&B belter, for whom they regularly furnished the illicit substances.

Amy was never charged in any crimes related to Blagrove and Burton. I’d love to think that with her dealers in jail Amy stands a better chance of getting better, but clearly she has access to drugs through all sorts of people. The combination of her laying a bit low this last month and looking a bit healthier is cause for hope, nonetheless.

Living hard sure has caught up to Amy Winehouse early on. Of course she’s done 30 years of rock star-worthy partying in the span of about 24 months. Winehouse has a myriad of medical problems resulting from her excessive smoking crack and meth use.

Amy on the other hand still thinks she looks great! Go figure!

Amy’s evening started out innocent enough, by spraying some fans with a hose (supposedly playfully), then running around a building really fast a couple of times, collapsing in exhaustion, and then getting into a one-sided fight with a security fence. So you know, just a regular night for most of us.

She began the night in high spirits, squirting water with a high-powered jet from her garage at fans gathered outside her Camden, north London, home shortly before 1am. About half an hour later she fancied a trip to live music bar Stables at Camden’s Proud Galleries. She started running to the club with a mystery pal, telling photographers she was going to take them on a trip round the back streets.

She also told them - bizarrely - their mothers would like her because ‘she kept it interesting’. The 24-year-old’s behavior then became more erratic over the next few hours. Before she got to the club she slumped down outside a shop, pushing her security guard away. The star then jumped up to slam her fist into the shop’s metal security blind… Amy eventually got to the Stables but stayed only for about 30 minutes before leaving via the black door.

She arrived home in a distraught, tearful state with a black coat over her head and red marks on her face.

What mother wouldn’t love Amy Winehouse? When I think of my hypothetical children, I can imagine no one I’d rather them end up with than someone like Amy Winehouse. If they settled for someone with a mere drinking problem I’d be pretty disappointed, to be frank. But if they could at least find someone battling some major mental illness or even just a good emotional disturbance, I’d be pretty satisfied.

It’s really hard to pick out the most bizarre moment from Amy’s evening. Although you could really say that about her life in general. I think it’s pretty clear that she’s not just fighting a very losing battle against addiction, but some sort of mental illness as well.

Guess clothing line has a new muse: It’s none other then the washed up train-wreck, ever so fabulous Amy Winehouse. Guess only plans to use the good parts of Amy’s style – not the walking around town in mid-winter with only a bra type of style.

The fashion company recently hired an Australian model to be the new face of the company, and you can expect some Wino looks to be coming your way. During the new model’s photo shoot, she was done up to mimic Amy, heavy eyeliner, beehive and all!

Amy has big plans, and seems to be getting her act together. She gave a surprisingly coherent interview to OK! Magazine in the UK. When I say that she’s surprisingly coherent I mean I’m surprised she can string a sentence together at all.

She lists her current hobbies as ironing and cooking, which I think makes you certifiable under the Mental Health Act, but feel free to come around and indulge your hobby at my place. She also says that she and Blake are obsessed with each other and they don’t have an open marriage. Soooo obsessed, that’s gotta be why she didn’t attend any of Blakes court dates, didn’t visit him at all while he was completely suicidal waiting for sentencing in the clink and that’s gotta explain why she didn’t even bother to show up at his sentencing. Then to put the water in the bucket, this week Blake’s mother asked the court to keep her son away from Amy….I don’t think they have much to worry about…if she’s not visiting Blake at all, what does this lady think Amy’s gonna do, head over to the prison and sneak into cell window when they say lights off? After that load of crap, Blake’s lawyer had to go and open his big mouth; claiming that Blake was  a role model for Amy. ROLEMODEL? Talk about stretching the truth…participate sounds more like it, rolemodel…not so much!

It’s no wonder she didn’t show up at Blake’s trial.

Doesn’t it seem like Wino’s hubby Blake has been in the clink forever? This trial for perverting the course of justice- a fancy Brit phrase for witness tampering- has been dragged out for ages. Blake Incarcerated, the no-good husband of everyone’s favorite celebrity crackhead, Amy Winehouse, pled guilty to the charges months ago, but could not be sentenced until the other defendants in the case were tried as well. Earlier today, Blake was sentenced to 27 months in prison–and his devoted wife was nowhere to be found during the court proceedings.

“Amy Winehouse’s husband was sentenced to 27 months in prison today for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.

Fielder-Civil had admitted beating up pub manager James King in a barroom fight in 2006 and then offering him £200,000 to keep quiet about it.

Judge David Radford told Fielder-Civil he had behaved in a ‘gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful’ way.

Fielder-Civil has already served around nine months on remand and he could be free in four-and-a-half months if he behaves himself in prison.

Miss Winehouse was not in court today to support her husband.

Earlier, Fielder-Civil appealed to a judge to let him walk free so he could become a role model for the troubled singer.

Through his barrister, Fielder-Civil told of his love for his wife and determination that both will devote themselves to becoming clean.

Jeremy Dein QC, told Snaresbrook crown court: ‘They are very much committed to each other and their ambition is to divorce themselves from hard drugs and not separate themselves from each other.

‘Knowing the nation’s glare is upon him, Mr Fielder-Civil has every possible motive to rehabilitate himself in the way he has already shown he is fully committed to doing. He knows if he fails, an appointment with calamity awaits, not just for himself but for his wife.

‘He can now see that hard drugs are to be regarded as nothing other than a smiling assassin. He wishes now to become a role model for Miss Winehouse but he knows it would be impossible for her to alienate herself from drugs if he continues to befriend them.’

Mr Dein urged the judge to either impose a community order, a suspended sentence or a prison term of no more than 18 months, the equivalent time Fielder-Civil has served awaiting his sentence.

The court heard Fielder-Civil kicked James King on the ground as the victim was being beaten up by Michael Brown in a row over a girlfriend in June 2006.”

Seems like she’s got her head screwed on straight to me! That’s how she does it bitches, that’s just how she rolls!

What are those lesions on Amy Winehouse’s face? Nobody knows….all we know is that they’re there, eating her alive. In the past month she went from having one lesion to having two lesions on her face. It looks as though she has another small lesion appearing right next to the bigger one on her cheek and it looks like she has another smaller lesion that seems to be growing on her chin. She’s trying to hide the lesions with makeup but it’s not working to well. Bev Hills dermatologist, Arnie Klein said, “Amy Winehouse should not be coming into close contact with other people while she has open sores.” You’d have to be crazy to do that, then again Amy’s friends are. So what are those lesions on her face from? Is it a dangerous staph infection that’s resistant to antibiotics aka HIV? We don’t know what the hell it’s from, but one thing we do know is that HIV does give you lesions and those are definitely lesions on Amy’s face. We’ll keep you updated with the latest.

When Amy Winehouse thanked “My Blake, incarcerated” in her Grammy acceptance speech we thought that she was just tenderly making a reference to the fact that she was separated from her husband during his ongoing stint in jail. It turns out she may have specified that Blake was in jail because there’s another guy named Blake in her life and she wanted to let everyone know, which one she was referring to. Amy was seen out with an American artist named Blake Wood last night. The British rags say that Kelly Osbourne introduced her to the “new” Blake, and that the guy doesn’t do drugs or even drink alcohol….good for her!

We’ve had plenty of pictures of stars entering rehab, looking unkempt and lost, so it’s nice to see Amy Winehouse out and about looking great. Or at least better. She headed out of her rehab facility in London to get her teeth fixed. Glamming up for the Grammys? Emerging from a second visit to a London dentist on Saturday, Amy flashed a bright white smile to onlookers before being escorted by her father Mitch back to the center she is receiving treatment in. This is a far-cry from December when she was spotted with gaps in her mouth suggesting meth mouth where her teeth had fallen out. A friend close to her admitted at the time: “She has one missing from the front of her mouth, and another one at the back which is less visible. “Her mouth is full of holes and she is desperately worried she is going to lose more. She has actually pulled a tooth out herself, which sounds painful and absolutely disgusting. Her gums are always red and sore as a result of it and some of the teeth are loosening.”…………..That’s nice!
